Executive Assistant to Councillor Karen Rea

  • Manage executive calendar and coordinate meetings, events and community meetings annually; assist with drafting monthly e-newsletters (4000+ subscribers) and bi-annual mailed newsletters (approx 40,000 residents).

  • ​Liaise with 5+ internal departments to submit work orders and ensure timely completion of tasks; organize logistics with internal and external community stakeholders for community events.  

  • Primary contact for residents; coordinating communication between the Councillor’s office and the public; answering phone calls; collecting feedback; assisting with navigating government processes; directing residents to appropriate resources.

  • Took minutes for OCAD University’s Teaching & Learning Committee at monthly meetings.
